These acting classes are based on the idea of bridging the gap between acting and editing — between the set and the editing suite.

First, we shoot a scene, then we edit, then we re-shoot. Participants follow the thoughts of an editor and director. What I think and feel about what’s been recorded. Why I choose one take over another, why I cut out certain frames, where the tension breaks, and how it could be held.

The classes are in small groups of four, with scenes written for four. Participants are never just observers but always involved in the process.
